Singapore Skyrise Greenery Program

Skyrise Greenery Training and Certification

Presented by the Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology, a division of the National Parks Board of Singapore in partnership with Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

Overview

Over the years, skyrise greenery has evolved from its infancy into a significant component of the built environment as more stakeholders begin to value its importance. With its scale and extent set to grow further in future, there is an increasing need for landscape practitioners to deepen their knowledge and skills in this domain, and to focus on the sustainability and safety aspects of skyrise greenery specific to our local environment.

The Skyrise Greenery Certification programme was created in an effort to bridge the knowledge gap in industry training and best practice. Based on the North American Green Roof Professional designation, this programme contains all of the competencies necessary for green roof success- from building science, horticulture, irrigation, waterproofing, plant physiology, structural engineering and beyond.

This collection of courses allows trainees to access tools and techniques needed to meet green roof project objectives on schedule, to specification, and within budget, the latest industry developments, technical standards and research findings.

Registration to this programme includes:

  • Access to all three Skyrise Greenery training modules
  • Access to digital Resource Manuals for each module
  • Up to three Skyrise Greenery Certification Exam attempts
  • Personalized Electronic Certification upon successful completion of the Skyrise Greenery Certification Exam
